Whenever there’s a fantastic, new layer of fresh, loose,
powder snow completely covering the groomed trail
hardpack your carbide runners just don’t and can’t
dig down to give you good steering control.
Experienced riders know that as your trail speed
increases over top of fresh powder you just aren’t
contacting anything firm under your “floating” skis to
give you that sharp turning and safe steering action you
want and need.
Experienced
and safe riders also know is that nothing is more
important than keeping all the way to the right side
during the turn - and staying completely on your own
side. Everyone that rides responsibly knows this. “Stay
right” sled driving is extremely critical for safe
accident free riding. Sno-Keelzz greatly
improve directional control on fresh, loose, powder
snow.
Sno-Keelzz work best when you're moving quickly thru
2 - 3 or more inches of fresh, loose snow. When
you want to move faster, Sno-Keelzz act to force
your sled to turn earlier and sharper just like a rudder
on a boat. You'll get noticeable directional
improvement and get that “extra grip” in fresh-and deep
loose snow.
Sno-Keelzz provide
that “extra turning difference” when they’re angled thru
fresh snow. They solve the side-slipping
understeer of normal skis that float on top of and slide
sideways in fresh, loose, powder.
And when
you do hit groomed hardpack trail just leave your
Sno-Keelzz on. They ride above normal trail
surfaces (and the unique spring loaded design mean
they move up with any bumps or rocks). We bet you'll
forget they’re still there - until you hit more
deep, fresh stuff where you’ll again get optimum
steering control to help you stay RIGHT on your own
side!
